Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)

In today’s world, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has become a shared belief and a collective awareness aimed at creating shared value among a company’s stakeholders. CSR is not a temporary project with a defined beginning and end, nor a concept that fades with changes in senior management. Rather, it represents a forward-thinking organizational culture that must be integrated into the daily business operations of both large and small enterprises.

Within the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries, CSR encompasses a wide range of initiatives such as education, healthcare development, poverty reduction, urban and rural development, promotion of sports, protection of human rights and cultural heritage, and job creation.

Kian Sazeh Bonvar Company considers its commitment to stakeholders a key factor in maintaining the long-term effectiveness and sustainability of its operations. Acknowledging the vital importance of constructive engagement with residents in project areas—whose lives are directly or indirectly influenced by project activities—the company actively contributes to the development of local and indigenous communities in its host regions.

Among the company’s notable CSR initiatives are the construction of the Shahid Hedayati Boys’ High School in Bandar Siraf , Kangan County, Bushehr Province—aimed at providing equitable educational opportunities for students in underprivileged areas—as well as the preparation and distribution of livelihood support packages for families living near project sites, and support for local sports teams in Kangan County. These initiatives reflect Kian Sazeh Bonvar’s ongoing commitment to advancing the company’s sustainable development objectives.

To develop and implement innovative and effective CSR practices, the company has established a dedicated Corporate Social Responsibility Department, responsible for addressing stakeholder expectations, identifying social and environmental impacts of project execution, mitigating adverse effects, and contributing to social, cultural, and economic sustainability within its operational regions.
